Author Guidelines

Edu Cendikia: Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan (hereinafter referred to as Edu Cendikia) is an online, multimedia-based academic journal that adheres to peer review standards involving academics from various institutions, both domestic and international. We invite high-quality research articles in the field of educational science. Authors should note the following:

  • Authors must prepare manuscripts using the Edu Cendikia style and submit them through the online submission system (link). Only manuscripts that adhere to the Edu Cendikia format will be sent to the review team.
  • Manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under review by other journals.
  • All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by experts in their respective fields, taking into account originality, clarity of presentation, and scientific significance.
  • As a commitment to prompt publication, the editors strive to complete the review process within four weeks. If authors do not receive any notification after this period, please contact the editors.
  • Edu Cendikia is committed to being an open-access journal for academic purposes. All original articles and review papers published in this journal are free to access immediately upon publication. We do not charge any fees to any reader who downloads articles and reviews for their own scholarly use.
  • Edu Cendikia publishes a fully open-access journal, meaning that all articles are available online to all users immediately upon publication. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and journal are properly credited.
  • The benefits of open access for authors include: Free access for all users worldwide, Authors retain copyright to their work, increased visibility and readership, Rapid publication, no spatial restrictions.
  • Before submitting an article to reviewers, it is first checked for similarity/plagiarism by a member of the editorial team. Manuscripts submitted to Edu Cendikia must have a similarity level of 20% or less. Edu Cendikia is an open-access journal. However, we are pleased to inform you that you (All Authors) are required to pay a publication fee for each accepted article.
  • An author or group of authors who cannot afford the publication fee may be eligible for a partial waiver of the publication fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work. Partial waivers are primarily intended for authors from low-income countries who lack sufficient funding.
  • A waiver or partial waiver of author fees may be decided by the editor in cases of lack of funds, excessive length of the submitted manuscript, or other reasonable justification provided by the author during submission. Authors must clearly state that they are requesting a waiver in the comments to the Editor's box during their submission. A waiver will likely be rejected if not requested at this stage. A waiver will not impact the review outcome.
